Christian Youth Love?

Christian Youth Love?

Love - the most fascinating topic among youth. Now a days, Christian youth is questioning, I fell in love, is it correct? I want to go for love marriage, is it biblical? Let me tell you my friend God is love. Don't be mistaken, love is not God, but God is love. Bible says God's love (Agape, in Greek language) is Holy. Your love should be holy and Biblical.
Is it right that a Christian loves? Yes, no problem, but you need to check some important points if you feel you are in love. As we discussed already, being a Christian your love should be like God's, i.e. Holy. Your love should not be based on the worldly attractions, or it should not be with selfish motives or fleshly desires.

You should marry a “believer”

Bible says, "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers... what fellowship can light have with darkness? "

(2 Corinthians 6: 14) So if you love and marry somebody, he/she should be a believer. They should be saved. Don't think that you can bring them to Jesus, after marriage. It is not at all biblical.

These 2 points are just the most primary. After your love passes these two steps, then the important step begins. The Will of God - for your life.

My dear friend you have to ask God for His Will regarding that boy or girl. You have to follow His plan for your life. If He says 'Yes' to your request, then you can proceed your love. But be careful with your priorities and preferences.

God commands that, "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength". (Mark 12: 30) So do not dare to neglect God, and also... be Holy. "Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh". (Galatians 5: 16) Be faithful to God till your marriage and even till the end. May God bless you. Amen.
